You forgot my favorite Walmart fact: it’s the second largest operation in the United States. #1 is the CIA. Learned that from a BBC documentary a few years back.
As long as I live far from a Wal-Mart – I know my location is gold and my property value will rise.
If that was from a few years back, at the rate Walmart grows, it is probably now the largest in the United States.
Molly, you’re mis-remembering what you saw on the documentary, probably. They’re the second largest employer in the world, only the US Army is larger. They are the largest private employer in the US, with the Post Office coming in second.
Sakodak, the largest employer in the world is the Chinese red army. That’s followed by the Indian national railway, and then the British national health service.
So you miss that Ken Lay and Sam Walton graduated from the same freaking ba high school? David H Hickman, baby.
